Ain't No Sleep For The Brickéd

Dark out.

Dark within, as well.

Sullen flashes of heat lightning, though silent, produce enough light to keep me awake.  They flicker from cloud to cloud, the last vestige of defiance before the cold front passes through and wraps the area in a delicious cool cocoon.  I await this eagerly.  My A/C is weak and my fan is broken.

For want of anything better to do, I decided to pick up my machine and work on some writing.  Having worked to the half-way point on several beta projects—further work will be done at a more reasonable hour—I’ve opened a Scrivener project and started working on a great many things.  I took a kink meme prompt—one of them anyway—with “LOL NO ONE IS GONNA FILL DIS” in its line, as my chosen “Challenge Accepted” for the month.  Unbelievably, it’s finished.  Between segments of this piece, I baked two loaves of bread.  One is mine.  The other is a request.  It’s money, that’s for certain.

I also started working on the dalliance that was borne of the bunny named Kain×Everybody.  It seems that every time it comes up in conversation, there is an exceptionally long internet derp.  And so I work on it now. Who knows, maybe I’ll be able to get more done.

You know, between bouts of stir craziness.
