DDFF Meme: Day 7: Favorite Moveset!

This one actually has me heavily split. I split my time so well now that I can’t really say I’ve got a definite main anymore—I can say that I’ve been playing a WHOLE LOT of Mateus, thanks to his Emperor of Arubboth alternate. And I love his moves—but I don’t know if I can say that his moveset is my favorite moveset.
I’m also a big fan of Siegfried WoL. His moves are
straight up deadly, and Ultimate Shield—rawr—but favorite set? Not quite.
Onion? Fun, yes! Getting warm.
Prishe? SO much fun.
Laguna? Well, I’ve fangirled about his epicness two days in a row now which is ironic because IT’S LAGUNA, DOOD and his moveset is in fact one of my favorites, but…
The crown for this question would have to go to Kain Highwind.
Why Kain Highwind?
The fact is, He Of The Voice Of Liquid Sex On Legs—or HOTVOLSOL, an acronym which we will NOT be using but will be making note of because it sounds quite a bit like the incoherent babbling I made upon first hearing “LANCE OF THE COVENANT!”—has my favorite set of moves. His moveset is the Ur Example of Death From Above. (…and below, and from either side…but mostly above.) Sure, Cecil had that set down best in the original—he’s the close second in this question—but Kain Highwind is a Dragoon, trained to fight in the skies and own the air.
He also has something that Cecil doesn’t: quick distancing attacks. In addition to that dragoon-specific air dash deal, his attacks themselves are designed to send the opponent rocketing in a direction (PICK ONE) away from you—with the possible exception of Jump, which, while usable as such, more often than not leaves the user VERY close to the foe and in some danger if one’s reflexes aren’t quick.
His other attacks, though? Nice GTFO-me moves. Gungnir—if you don’t hit them into the wall, the stage is just that big. Sky Rave? If they don’t get ground wall-rushed, you were REALLY high up. Same goes for the ceiling and Rising Drive. Dragon’s Fang? Fast-launch GTFO button!
Then there’s the completely irrelevant fact that every single one of these is viscerally satisfying when it lands. Go out there and land a Gungnir on a competent foe. Tell me how it feels. You’re damn right.
If this were an MMO, these attacks would all have
knockback—Kain Highwind is crowd-control personified. With a voice that makes
you feel like you’re doing something deliciously, sinfully wrong…right…yeah.
And he can make Feral Chaos a cakewalk.
