Yah, I know, suprising when that happens, no? And according to Ultimania she had a pretty miserable backstory. Her father died when she was only 10 (she ascended the throne at 16) and then her young daughter dies at the age of 6 which is where Dagger comes in. Then of course it gets worse and 4 years later her husband passes away. But she's still a good woman at heart and what's more a good queen. ENTER: Narcissist, flairing hair overdramatically.
This is of course clever foreshadowing on the game's part. Having Brahne remorseful for her actions on her deathbed and Dagger going back for her, regardless of past offences... My guess is this gives Zidane food for thought later on.
…Methinks that picking this up again shall serve as adequate reward after finishing the Kitchenette area of this apartment. That is, provided I don't get tempted by the fact that registering my Nook has filled it with things incredibly relevant to my interests (read: classical horror novels, Sherlock stories, and a yaoi novel—ALL FOR FREE AND FOR LEGAL)
I'm surprised at how complex this story's getting! I'd heard about it but…man, how is this game so underrated?
Alas and alack! breakfast has almost ended! I must clean after finishing my last Coke!
When I beat this I'm getting my N64 back from my Dad, along with my copies of the Zelda games. Would you believe we've still got functional controllers?
*still waiting for water to boil. Damn you giant pot!
Actually, if you're good at hookshotting, with a combination of that, the Bunny Hood and some near!parkour, you can get around that! There's a few places where a slope that you shouldn't be able to stand on gives you just enough foothold to jump to the ledge.
If I'm being honest, NOTHING bored me in that game. I think it was the whole "OH HAI THIS ENTIRE GAME CAN CAUSE A TIME PARADOX" aspect.
Oooh. I didn't have much time to explore that sorta stuff before since my N64 copy vanished. And I had all the maskes on that one too. (Granted I have it on GC but first copy would always be better then the first.)
It just wasn't the same as OoT for me. But I will admit... the beginning of the game. Epona gets snatched. You run in the forest... Jump across the logs. HELLO FRONT FLIPPING LINK. NOW THAT'S THE HERO OF TIME I KNOW. JUST CRANKED UP TO ELEVEN!!
...You wouldn't like 3DS OoT then. I still screw up the songs sometimes trying ot get used to it compared to GOD TIER N64 ocarina... ;_;
Oh my god yes. I was sad that he does this all as a child. I'd love to have seen his adult self doing all that (not just Fierce Deity Link). Too bad in my headcanon he turns into the Stalfos that helps TP link due to not having a fairy and getting lost in the woods. D:
PFF YES. I kinda want to see more of the aggressive Zoras from the past games (those finned fish things that shot fireballs at you. Not Octoroks but those other ones.) but I recall Spirit Tracks having monsters that kiiiinda looked like them. I wonder if the normal Zoras battled them or something sometime in the timeline... :U

That could make this interesting: if I find that as an .mp3 it could lead the playlists each day.

During this game Link takes SEVERAL levels in Badass. Especially with the Zora Mask, where you KNOW he's showing off.
(Remember LTTP: "They say the Zora's treasure can turn people into fish. Heh heh, I'd love to see that." That mask ain't too far off!)
