Dec. 7th, 2006 07:53 pmOkay, it took me this long just to say that the internet hasn't been available for me and that I don't know when I will be on again. I can't even use this thing well right now because this is dialup and I don't know the first thing about internet patience. At the very least I figure that I can let everyone who gives a rat's ass that I'm ok and try to do something about the long silence.
I figure I'll just do generic update and let everyone know what's up.
So I've gained about twenty pounds, and along with it I've not only regained my old cup size...I've gone up another one. o_O I don't know what's going on with that but I won't complain (until I have to buy tops again :P). Also, going through on something that I've been playing around with and not ever done right off--I've started writing original work again. I don't know when I will have copy to show for it since I'm stuck using Wordpad. One of the next things on my list is to see if I can get at my machine.
Forty applications and counting on the job hunting. I don't know when anything will be a hit or not, so I'll just take my time and keep at it. Since the power has been restored in the area I can get ready to see if I can fill out some more and get something to stick.
I had to call the folks when the storm blew through I just couldn't let that slide; I had to get the lowdown on how they were doing after that weather mess. Second state of emergency declared in the area in a few months…what a mess! I was quite shocked to hear how well my reappearance went over with those guys (and if you're reading me now HI GUYS! XDDD). I think I'll go out of my way to see if I can get on more often to let you guys know how things are going, and if you ask I might let you look at the opening of that book that I FINALLY got to starting XD
So while I'm waiting for things to go more normal--get a job and all that good stuff--I'm just going to try to relax a bit, and also see if I can get some things done.
