I’m doing so many things at once right now.
For instance, I am carrying on two conversations *looks at pop up* make that three conversations at once; I’m writing on the forums on GaiaOnline.com, I’m writing on the forums at Reign of Bohemians (link in my first page where the ‘to do list’ is usually), and I’m writing profiles and standalones to fill out my profile.
Also I am hunting for good music to put on my Last.FM. Right now I’m kind of cheating by listening to Pandora.com to get some recommendations from that. Though I have to say, I kind of like the thing that it’s got going on: You put in an artist or a song name and it gives you tracks to listen to based on the ‘musical genome profile’ of your selection. It’s a little more intuitive than Last.FM’s ‘similar artists’ protocol, but sometimes I want something a little more predictable and controlled to listen to; those are the days that I go there instead.
Also sometimes I’m picky. It’s a lot harder to be picky on Pandora.
I’m still working on getting a computer up and running so that I can work on things on the weekends, but I’m not in that much of a hurry at the moment. If it comes down to it I’ll borrow money from someone. Despite what my credit report says (Whoot for being a three time ID!Theft victim) I’m fairly reliable when I owe someone money.
Then there is the always ongoing portfolio work that I have going on. I’m listening to some classical music to see if it helps. When I was younger it was almost all that I listened to, and there were a few times that I managed to fill out entire college-ruled composition books with my tiny writing, what was effectively small novellas. Too bad I can’t find those notebooks; even though my style is eons different from back then, I’d like to see what ideas it conjures up.
