I feel good. Stuff got done today.

I got my Umbreon, I got Gabranth's off-hand weapon, I finished a fic, and I finally got the store to buy un-canned chili beans.

Though it was raining, and therefore a miserable day outside, it didn't go too badly when all things are considered.

I still have more errands to run, but they can wait until the weather improves a bit.  Running around on several buses and trains gets old when it is raining outside and your shoes are squeaky and sloshy.

Today we got our new GM at work.  I only saw him for a second.  It wasn't long enough to get a read on his managerial style, though.  I'm naturally a bit apprehensive.  This makes the third manager we've had in as many years.  I will say this, though.  He's got a solid handshake.  Had to pop my wrist afterward.
