Disagree: the AGT Finale
Sep. 15th, 2010 10:08 pmThe results are in: and the winner is one Michael Grimm.
The favorite on the interwebs, Prince Poppycock, surprisingly went out on the first elim.
Though Jackie Ivancho (and I THINK I spelled that right) has an impressive talent, I don't think that pure opera will work in Vegas. Plus she's ten. A little young for the Vegas scene, I think.
Fighting Gravity is good, too--they were in the running up to the end. But in the end, they didn't manage it. I think last night's "oops we just showed a little piece of how it's done" managed to mangle their chances.
I don't agree with the results of this voting. Though there was noising about on the internet that the contest might have been rigged, it appears that the rumors were the wrong way around--rigged NOT in the kid's favor, but in this guy's.
Of course this might be a conspiracy theory in my part. Who knows.
I just disagree.
