LOL. What my dad doesn't often admit--he's a geek. And a bookworm. Both of us. We were kinda predisposed to liking the stuff. (LOL, your dad knows quality! Especially appreciating the score!)

I've got some problems with most of the family--dad's side only just warming up to me again after a fairly dramatic exit--fueled by my broken brain issues. Haven't seen ANYONE from mom's side since I was 17.
I try not to think about it, because I don't know the first thing about contacting them who don't plan on flaunting it and causing drama on the other side. Who I've got is getting better.
