Update/rant

Man, it's getting tiresome, this not having daily access to the internet. At least I can do this in advance and then post, effectively broadcasting to whoever gives a care that I am still alive and junk.

 

I finished that game yesterday—I'm going to assume that there is a sequel to it, because…I'll avoid spoilers, for those who haven't played and plan on doing so, but let's just say that it could have gone a lot better than that.

 

After that, I did something that I haven't done in a while: I pulled out my tarot cards and did a reading. Man…I'd forgotten how good the cards feel in my hands, the smoothness of the cards, their heft…and that smell that they have, even after being owned for some time. That new-book kind of smell.

 

Um…back to topic. I did a reading, and actually wound up with a clear answer. Which is something odd, since I hadn't expected to be up to par, having not read cards in several months. Stuck in that house and all that jazz, where I had to hide my deck and keep it from being discovered. Which happened anyway and they wound up being hidden, and I managed to find them again and keep them out of the way afterward. I still don't know who went through my drawer and found them. Don't care to find out, either.

 

I started picking out some more herbs to research, and then lost my track when I wound up finding a conflict in common-name versus botanical-name…what's the word…thingy. Simply put, I seem to keep finding things that say that marijuanilla and wild dagga are the same herb, and searching for either's botanical name tends to lead to nothing but a seller, no information. If I can't find clear cut information sooner than this, I might have to pick a different herb to include in the research.
