It is barebones--a few font options, a few font size options, background picker, music picker, keyboard noise picker, options to save as the proprietary file format, options to export in RTF, TXT, and even to convert to a PDF.
I think the big draw though is the complete immersion. Nothing exists but your writing and mouse pointer--which will soon fade out of your awareness.
If you hover over the work area you get wordcount.
Use markdown to add italics,bold, and if your're feeling peachy, BOLD ITALICS.
Note: there is no markdown for underline, but really, are we using it that much?
Gimme half a second and I'll add a picture of the UI to the entry. For some reason DW hasn't gotten that fancy reply box yet and I can't do it from here.
EDIT: LOL DUMB FACT: my display is so large that a full screenshot exceeds post size. I had to shrink it by half.
