DDFF Meme: Day 11: Best Alternate Costume
When this was developed, there was one piece of DLC available—and if you hadn’t managed to grab it before the PSN was hacked and taken offline the way GlaDOS would be if Edgar and his chainsaw ever got to her, you didn’t have it.
I’m gonna take this to mean that this query refers to the originals.
Or, you know, I won’t, and I’ll just list my (current) top faves. No particular order, since I haven’t been steadily maining lately.
Warrior of Light 2nd alt: Warrior of Fight. There’s something about the classics. On top of that, the look seems to fit his new, attitude-sprinkled battle quotes. (“Now is your chance to flee.” Damn, dude!)
Warrior of Light DLC1: What can I say? I love the fluffy-helmet hair look on him. If you look closely, you’ll see that one of the spikes on his sword is also broken. Clearly, he’d lost a few fights leading up to this look.
Emperor Mateus, 2nd alt: Classic, straight out of the Origins FMV. Mateus, do you go to the same hairdresser as Ultimecia? ‘Cuz that hair is faaaaaaaaaabulous. And did you notice his nails are done too? Details, man…
Emperor Mateus, Emperor of Arubboth (dlc1): He’s Holy!Evil. What more can you ask for? It’s absolutely awesome to watch that look in action. Especially Starfall.
It’s just a little odd that, in this model—close look! No feet. Of course, maybe that weird, shoulder-baring robe thingy (YUM, BTW) is just so long that we can’t see them?
Meh, I’ll just assume he’s barefoot and levitating.
Onion Knight, 2ND alt: In a subtle nod to the other half of FFIII’s mythology, that Onion Kid is cast in the appearance of a Warrior of the Dark. It’s a stark outfit change, but an incredibly subtle mythology nod that would go missed if one never bothered to examine the books in the Library.
Gabranth, 2nd alt: Two words. BASCH LIVES.
I’ve got a soft spot for most of the alts, but these are my faves. Besides, I change alt-preferences the way I change my menu—OFTEN.

And I'm also glad we got the Warrior of Dark for OK (even though I've only played about the first 2 hours of FFIII) simply because it's a nod to the mythos of balance and not shoving the light=good, dark=teh satan! concept on us that S-E is sometimes guilty of. Actually Dissidia was fairly good about referring to balance as the best outcome, especially in it's theme of not having every Cosmos member be a saint or every Chaos member a iredeemable monster. Off topic comment is off topic.

(I always thought that Zidane tucked it round his waist like a saiyan for the 3rd form since the armour is bulky enough. 4th form he just borrowed one of Kuja's vanish spells)

That would be a practical option…
I could have a FIELD DAY with the crack this invites, but alas and alack! if I don't go to sleep soon, I may be in trouble.
Both my BF and I managed to catch something or another. We've not the slightest idea what it is, but chills when it's 80 Fahrenheit out? Not so cool XD
Let's see, what's tomorrow's question…
*stares*
*double take*
Hoo boy. This one will be a doozy.
