This question tastes an awful lot like Day 2, but there are a few differences. Day 2 was favorites. Today is dedicated to that strange factor of “HOLY HELL WHAT WAS THAT IT WAS AWESOME.” Thanks to Team Canon Fodder (Again, props to ya, Toffee!) a lot of that came from the newbies.
Especially Kain Highwind.
…YEP. He of the epic manly voice is back on this list.
Part of my reasoning is because of that epic manly voice. I mean, listen to him. The man is quite possibly the poster boy for Audio Erotica.
The other half of that is his moveset.
Sure, it consists of hard to land precision strikes, but—you land something and there’s just So Much Damage. I mean look at all the numbers that pop up. And watch as your opponent flies for at least two seconds on a larger stage before the BOOM and HP damage pops up.
There’s something satisfying about that.
And consider I play fighting games and FPSes to vent rage?
Ain’t much more satisfying than a Kain Highwind lance.
…
Nope. Not gonna rephrase that.

Kain: YOU DARE?!
Me: HOLY SHI—EVEN HIS ENRAGED INFURIATED YELL IS DEEP—
Since I had a kill, and the most room was straight down, Sky Rave.
The chibis are disgruntled with my failure

Date: 2011-06-23 02:05 am (UTC)It instantly interrupts an attack/cancels your damage recovery time and basically mega-slows the opponent for a base time of five seconds, during which you can totally wail on your helpless foe. Then at the last second, HP attack. Preferably one with a lot of hits in it.
If you're trying to avoid using it, make sure you're not still damage!staggering and you're fine.
…just be warned that a foe can EX Revenge out of YOUR EX Revenge.
Derpy question is derpy but:
Date: 2011-06-23 02:13 am (UTC)Re: Derpy question is derpy but:
Date: 2011-06-23 02:18 am (UTC)EX Mode = when you're on the offensive or just not being damaged
EX Revenge = when you're countering/mid-recovery.
