WTF: At least it's over for now…

HOLY CRAP IT IS ALMOST SEVEN. 

Three people failed to show up today.

School in the district just started—and they all have kids. So their absences went partially excused.

(Un)fortunately for me that means I literally just stepped into the door mere seconds ago, toting a purse, a cooler filled with cream and doughnuts, and…a thermal tote also containing three containers of delicious cream.

The first carton of cream is for cooking.

The other three are for drinking in coffee, tea, and cocoa. Two vanilla, and one plain sweet.

A carton of eggs at the bottom of the bag, wrapped in a newspaper for extra cushioning.

The newspaper contains hilarious fails. I’ll hunt down my camera and take shots.

For now, CAFFEINE, CLEAN, AND CON PREP WHUT.

DAMN NEAR IMMEDIATE EDIT:  7:13 PM.  The internet is bipolar.  It is swinging wildly between one bar and five.  Just a heads-up.

School starts this early? Yeesh, over here we don't have kids even go to their induction days until the very beginning of September at the earliest.

Gah, rest easy tonight, okay? Enjoy that cream and maybe some FFIX (just completed the festival of the hunt and am now back to grinding) and just relax.

Also when are you due to go to your con?

It's oddly staggered. We just had one start a more 'traditional' school year (read: dropped the year-round scheduling because there just wasn't money in the coffers to cover it), but on top of that, there is an average of four days between districts: one will start on this day, the other will start three days later, and then there's another one that happens to be a week ahead of them.

And then one a week BEHIND that lot.

Just got into Burmecia. Took two shots to actually get IN, because DEM DRAGONS got me. Ouch. Wasn't even time to Flee because it was a Back Attack and Ziddy was wearing a delicious KICK ME sign. So it did, and then it burned us to a delicious caek crisp.

It's cool, don't worry about it.

Hmm, but I gather then that those schools probably break up earlier for holidays and things like that then?

Ah the Ironites are such bitches. Even with my level 30 crew they still do a horrible little number on Squishy Wizard, Death!Wish!Tribal, Frail!Freya and KOMMSUSSERTOT!Quina. Just wait till you meet the General...

There's a Christmas Holiday Vacation *public schools aren't allowed to say Christmas* that stretches from around the nineteenth to the third of January. Then the next thing is Easter Spring break (not to be confused with SPRING BREAK!!!), which is at minimum four days, maximum an entire week.
If no snow/extreme heat advisory/power outage/FRICKEN TORNADO DESTROYED OUR SCHOOL WHUT days are burned, the usual out-time is about the last day of May.

The Ironites are a pain. At least Zidane's usally fast enough to get the first hit in. And if I'm lucky he crits and that's that.

I'm afraid of this General already. *hides*
