It’s been taken care of.

Now all that there is left to do is wait.

And the waiting threatens to drive me insane.

Yeah yeah, blah blah blah already insane blah blah lost it long ago blah blah.  We done yet?  .

Since there isn’t much for me to do, I’m going to write.  The internet will be fixed shortly—as it turns out there’s people stealing cable from other units (…how?  I can’t figure out how they’re doing it for the life of me, considering how it is the units are wired in the first place) and that bit of theft interferes with those people who are paying for cable internet.  See, for some reason the entire building has been wired for  the last year and a half to get cable—and it appears to be gratis for all of the tenants—at least if it weren’t they would have caught on to that a long time ago.  But there are people who aren’t aware of this and so they steal cable by splitting someone’s internet signal and routing it into the TV feed.

Which screws with signal strength and quality, of course.

That bit of fuckery has resulted in the need to have the place checked out, and my shared signal has just been dipped in speed.  Not that it will matter too terribly—the shenanigans with the signal effectively killed the rate of speed in the first place, and it wasn’t working to its best—indeed, it’d crap out at the absolute most inopportune times (Quit in the middle of an instance while I’m tanking?  SURE!) and it was enough to cause some serious rage.

The hotel’s been slow.  Not even anything interesting happening, unless you count the fact that it’s been cool enough lately that we can simply open the windows and let the place air naturally.  …the fact that I’m considering that to be something interesting should show you how dull it’s been here.  The most exciting event around here has been the cleaning sessions, which though I still have that vague sense of terror regarding, I now think that I have a fighting chance.

Meanwhile, sleep.  Nerves have taken a toll on me.  Good thing I have…

…actually it’s fairly medicinal tasting.  But I don’t want my head to explode, so yeah.
