Blustery out today.

A long day at work, and a wicked case of weather—these two things conspire together to keep me from getting where I'm going.

 

Luckily I am not so easily thwarted.  Though easily half my money be already spent, I do have something to show for it.

 

Well, aside from the mental image of Kuja having a Marilyn moment in the wind, dandy skirt a-fly.

This somewhat ungainly object is to be my savior.

 

See, this is a highspeed wireless modem.

 

A third of my funds this ran me, after rushing through my rooms and still not getting out of there early.  I had to go back, correct mistakes, find missing crap (how did we lose a headboard?  The world may never know), replace junk—exiting the hotel at roughly the time on my board.

 

Next task: getting to the store and bank. After scribbling some crap onto a receipt I had me some cash: some cash that would not stay in my own hands for long at all.  I hamfisted that $50—it could flap those tiny wings off for all I cared, it was going to stay in my grasp for a little while longer.  Thus it was that, with convulsive grip, I made my way to the store, where I finally let go of that bill—and added a bill to my load.

 

... BUT AT LEAST I NOW HAVE MY OWN INTERNET.

Kuja has magical Terran bishonen flutter powers! He can make his hair or robes float as if dancing in a gentle autumn breeze regardless of weather!

Also hooray, now there is no more internet angsting on your end! (I'm gonna try and see if I can work MSN or AIM on the old computer tommorow - tonight I'm a bit too drowsy to hold a real time conversation. Thank you neice and nephew for gift wrapping that lovely cold virus for me. I shall treasure it always.)

I'd see if I could return that gift... no receipt I take it?

The angsting will resume if it gets too slow at work. This little fit of independence costs me an extra $50/ month. BUT. No more shenanigans.

This is my ace. The SWaC, who swore up and down the derp was over (somehow it only ever hit my signal, ever) is definitely on the list.

Receipt? HAH! If I could I'd give it back with interest!

Makes me wish I could resort to such measures. Unfortunately I'm living in a place where getting WiFi isn't an option which is a pain since my normal computer MIGHT have been able to work with that...

Okay I'll admit it: I just want WiFi so I can get that damn DLC. (I wonder if my sister's got it...)

Well, this was my sole remaining option, here…I had to do something, I was going stir crazy. And it's not the greatest signal in the history of ever--things that I KNOW should be higher resolution than they are are grainy-lookin'--BUT I'M NOT COMPLAINING.
