Okay, fine.

You see, the point of this alert is that I'm going to start having a bit of fun with things that have been bouncing around in my head—and with the things that have been bouncing around in my camera, as well.

A few things have been bugging me—namely because they keep coming up. Points like:

• E-books are better than print books/print books are better than e-books.

And who can forget this little gem?

• You're not really reading if it hasn't got pages!

And here's a favorite of mine:

• You'll never make it if you write ____ !

So much nonsense! So many shenanigans! And I'm going to attack all of them one by one, eventually! In fact, I had the first one written before my client crashed. I have to start it over. I'd best get to work.  Also if there's anything else that you want me to tackle when I do these, leave me a comment—if I've learned enough about it to either actually have something to say or BS it, I probably will—

Because my brain needs a break from being in utter panicked agonized agony (Dept. of Redundancy Department?) and ranting about things helps me out.

Is that not the entire point of an lj I ask you? And yet even though I have so much to say I decide not to post it because I fear it is impolite to clutter up people's f-lists with my ramblings about seiyuu, anime and the random BL dramas I listen to. (WHICH IS WHY YOU WILL NEVER HEAR MY CRACK INTERPRETATIONS OF SAINT BEAST INVOLVING KIRIN NO JUDAS ANGSTING OVER HOW HIS BELOVED PURPLE DRESS IS NO LONGER FLATTERING THANKS TO HIS MAN TITS.

Anyway, to the point at hand. I spied one of my lj-buddies giving The 100 things blogging challenge a try and can't help but wonder if it might be right up your street. (I'm probably going to do something FF related though I am finding it very hard to resist the temptation to make my 100 favorite Ishida roles or 100 greatest LOLWTFlogicflail moments in BL...)

You’ve totally got a point there, it IS the entire point, isn’t it?

YOU’RE right. That totally IS right up my alley. While I don’t know if I know enough about one subject to do 100 posts on it alone, I can certainly find at least ten things to say about ten different things. And the whole thing would give me a nice, chill sort of thing to look forward to. Right off the top of my head I kind of want to do it on Writing Tips—partly because I kinda want to dissect some of Chuck Wendig’s bits of advice to see if there’s even more meaty bits inside. (I love that crazy penmonkey. Though when I read his writing, the voice in my head tends to be that of Hugh Laurie doing his Dr. House voice. And hearing that voice spout profanity and other unsacred words like “cock-waffle” and “This sucks unicorn!” is utterly hilarious. For the record, when something “sucks unicorn,” it is AWESOME.)

I’ll likely have a decision on whether I’m actually doing it by tomorrow morning.

And it wouldn’t be clutter, per se, not with that wonderful thing known as the LJ-Cut! I’m sure you’ve noticed how I tend to go on and on and on and on and on and on when the mood so hits me.

EDIT: I see that copy-pasting something that has the small-caps formatting defaults it to all-caps once in a plaintext box. Interesting. Now I know why one of my comments went all-caps without me doing it.

Well those man tits ARE rather distracting. Before he was a slim little piece of shota that looked simply DARLING in that sleeveless purple number and then all of a sudden Zeus goes and makes him all muscular and seme and legal which totally kills the look. The dick. No wonder Judas rebelled. (Speaking of which I might recommend Saint Beast to you since it is Shonen-Ai between angels and is all about angels rebelling against 'God' (or in this case Zeus) and finding discord in heaven. I just began watching it because it was shonen-ai and it had Ishida, Sakurai, Morikawa, Midorikawa SuzuKen, Sugita and Fukuyama... The problem is there are about 3 different anime versions and for the most part the scripts are just FLUFF, ANGST, FLUFF, FLUFF, ANGST.)

*snort* Personally I find it more amusing to think of when Hugh Laurie uses expletives in his 'Bertie Wooster' voice since he speaks EVER SO PROPERLY that the idea of him dropping profanity in every sentence is just cracktastic. And if you are unfamiliar with that voice then here is a good example of it:
