Well, I got booted off my comp last night early. That left me with little to do. Plotting doesn’t take as much time as it used to…ehehehe. So I had to do something now that I was done plotting, and so I decided to listen to music. But I was tired of my headphones getting all glitchy if I decided to move my head a bit differently than usual, so something had to be done. The little direct-feed from my old speakers wasn’t cutting it either. Computer speakers are usually better when they have a power feed going into them, and since I didn’t have that…subpar sound. Whee.

So something had to be done. I got bored. Very bored. When you get bored, weird ideas tend to pop up. So I got one of said weird ideas. I have this weird speaker-wire thingy: it’s got the left and right audio thingies for speakers, but the other end looks like a standard headphone plug. Something that would fit into the back of a computer…or a CD player’s headphone jack.

So I had to try it.

I couldn’t see what I was doing—so I had to go off of feel, plugging the thing into the back of the television and guessing that one of them was an audio in-feed. (Yes, it is one of those ancient machines with everything in the back still. XD) After finding one of the blasted things, I put the television’s tuner to the AV-in setting, and turned on the CD player.

Holy crap, I have CD music going through my little walkman CD player.

This morning, I tried it with the computer feeds, and voila, I’ve got decent sound (it IS a puny television after all) from my computer going through the TV.

Am I colossal dork for this? Yes.

Do I care? No. After all, I’ve got sound again. So YAY!

Edit: As big of a dork as I am, I don't know what happened with that formatting. Ehehehe. ^^; I have yet to take any classes in html, and so this stuff is beyond me.
