I have been delaying updating in a while just because this would make my 800th entry. Seven years of (a little tiny bit more actually) blogging and I haven’t done a little thing like that on any other milestone, not even the 666th entry. I mean, I’d LIKE to do something as cool as a kiriban or some other neato shit like that, but—
- Even if I had a scanner, I can’t draw much beyond still lifes, plants, and abstract, Amano-esque weaponry—and that all takes days;
- I’ll admit to not knowing the first thing about graphic work—all my icons are either presents or the product of me futzing about in an archaic as hell program—even MS Paint has had more updates by this point; and
- I honestly don’t know if I’d have the chops to write something on request
that isn’t the product of me surfing the anon meme until I find something that raises my temperature a few notches.
Therefore, I’m doing jack squat. Well, jack squat except for thanking everyone who’s been here while I dump my crazy box that I call a mind into this series of tubes for all this time.
Here’s to 800 More, ne? The 100 Things posts resume soon, so that’ll be a big starter of them right there. Speak up! Don’t get quiet on me.
