We are halfway through the month, and I am less than halfway through where I should be at this rate. I have fallen behind, thanks in no small part to the machinations of my peripheral neuropathy dealing incredible damage to my hands. But I've begun to see if I can get the catching up part of this done. I'm making a point of it to NOT have my word count total visible, as when I actually LOOK at the totals, I start to freak out. As of this writing right here...I have no idea how I am doing.

 

And now, back to the grind. I REALLY want to make it Four Times.

Hand failure is one of those unexpected buggers that screws things up a whole lot worse than imagination would suggest. ESPECIALLY if you want to write anything beyond a sentence. (The nerve related upsets are exceptionally frustrating as half-the-time it can feel as though the affected limb/s are possessed despite your best efforts to regain control. Poor you...is one of your hands suffering worse than the other or are they equally affected? *hugs*)

The thing that's really fucked up is it's the left hand--not my main hand. But I need both hands to type, and it was so lit up with pain the veins were starting to stand up on it. (THAT's starting to freak me out!)

I was actually hanging with my parents MST3K-ing GTA Vice City yesterday while we were discussing it, and apparently my Dad's got the same problem. We're now BOTH planning on pestering our respective MD's.
