In an interesting twist of fate I have found insurance checks dated approximately from the time my cousin who set off the PTSD flare up before this one hidden in a drawer that I don't use often. She was there to help clean, as my knees and what was then undiagnosed and completely untreated fibro had me in such pain I couldn't do much besides make the cleaning solutions I use at home and freelancing.

It's a sock drawer, and the only reason I was in it today was to purge holey socks so I could put away laundry.

…welp. Two other things went missing that weekend and I didn't think much of it until I got home and saw that my grocery bags were AWOL. She also tried to "borrow" my new backpack. But money? No. If she thinks I'm ever answering her calls or shit again, she's insane. …especially when she brings crazy men over without my permission.

I hope they're still good. I see no expiration dates. And they're not MUCH money…just enough to get my neurontin and a fresh can of CO2 for my seltzer/soda thing. Both are good news because the dry heaves are back from when THIS flares up.

The weather continues to be a soggy, rainy mess. It needs to clear up. …I need some damn sun.

I've been rationing it, but it's the slow season and I've been stockpiling everything while the weather still allows me to stockpile the freezer. I just loaded a pound of sea bass, a pound of salmon, a pound of venison, a pound of cod, and a pound of bison into the freezer and there MIGHT BE room left over for a few bags of frozen veggies. I also replaced my rice cooker that I burned out a month ago (irony of ironies--in the middle of making rice for sushi). ...suddenly, idea for tamagoyaki nigiri with a layer of marmite.

It's been a little tetchy. Since finding that extra bit of money I can go to the pharmacy tomorrow and get the pills refilled again, and stop rationing the morning dose out of the rotation. Then there's the fact that while I was absent there was a MASSIVE PTSD flareup brought on by the fact that there was a pimp bust at the hotel. Then there's an assistant supervisor who puts the 'ass' in the word, and then there's just an ass coworker. I took a vacation and timed it during the slam period just because they'd suffer. I'm not making as much money as I would if I worked, but I'm in less pain and my mind is freer. *Usagi NYEH face*

I'm working on a particular sort of trap. It'll be triggered by key phrases like "Yo can I" or "Hey if it ain't too much trouble" or "I borrowed this bag just letting you know." That particular model is already rigged in the target.

I've been okay - still trying to get paid work and failing but at least I've got a lot more cred on my resume due to the internship and the volunteer work I'm doing at this charity shop. (Plus I have a back up plan involving writing self-published erotica after finding out some info from a credible source. They were kind enough to give me this very useful link which might be of use to you too?) Mysti and Ets were around last month so I've got stuff to send you from that trip as well as a ton of photos I need to shop before I share them.

If you ever come to the UK we need to take you tea venturing. There was this HEAVENLY tea place in Stratford-Upon-Avon that basically sent Mysti and I into what can only be described as 'teagasms' as they had this immense selection and it was in JARS so you could sniff to get an idea as to whether you were keen on the flavor or not.
