Wow. Technology…

You know. A high-speed connection is almost pointless when one's tech cannot handle the speed of the connection. Seriously.
Currently, I sit at an old HP Pavillion desktop. Its processor isn't anything to sneeze at, not at all. The problem is, it's old. By computing standards, this thing would qualify for the senior citizen's discount. It has survived the onslaught of the (largely non-existent) Y2K bug, and lived to tell the tale. But by today's standards, it's …just not fast.
Just to give you guys an idea of what I mean here, I'm typing not that quickly for my standards—I'm nerfing my speed. But the rason that I am nerfing myself here, it's because it takes so long for my words to appear on screen that if I don't I will submit something full of typops.
Needless to say, this isn't my machine. Currently, I don't HAVE a machine. So I just make do with whichever one I can get to on any given day. I haven't even got the slightest clue what software is on this thing. =D
Owing to that fact, the majority of my works in progress that I will be posting soon are, technically already on the net. But since I haven't finished them, they're currently locked on private security. I will work on them with each chance that I get, and post them wen—wait, they're already posted, aren't they? Well, then, I'll reveal them when they're finished, with updated dates, because they're all over the place, chronologically speaking.
