Watching slashy anime is probably NOT the answer to a pounding headache.
Especially the kind that smacks at the side of the head with an ice pick. But I have to watch it. I have to find a better quality video but right now I’m not picky because, well, smoking-hot-demon-boy. It’s Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru (The Betrayal Knows My Name) and frankly, after getting a link in my inbox and there’s action and cute and fluff and adorable orphans and GAH. I’m not entirely positive I’ve seen so much non-pairing FLUFF in a light yaoi before.
Let’s start with the fact that our main male lead, Yuki is a pretty boy who in a past life was a girl and the lover of this high-level demon, and now that he’s reincarnated as a man—well, his lover doesn’t really mind even though Yuki-kun/chan *depending on who’s talking to/about him* has no idea what’s going on.
I’m only an episode and a half in and I can only find shoddy Youtube rips, but considering the price on Amazon I can’t afford it right now. Plus I can’t tell if the version they have is subbed. (And there’s even a drama CD but I can’t understand the language. LOL. I’m still tempted. Luka is pretty hot sounding.)
Back to the Youtuebs.

Well, someone suggested it.
But the more and more that I think about it, and the more that I play FFXII, the more that I feel like yes, I can in fact write this pairing with no problems at all.
And the more it becomes. Ridiculously. CUTE.
Right now my internet is not working. This means that most of what I do is on borrowed time when I am supposed to be rolling a character for a game, or rolling for my attack roll--essentially I need to be paying attention to the combat, and not trying to update sixteen things at once.
While this is all going on, I will probably spend most of my time napping between dice rolls.
…I am aware that this is copy-pasta from my dA.
I am sleep-deprived, however, and the fact that I have managed to find a connection in the first place today is a wonder in and of itself.
I'm going to nap now, and kind of pray that we don't game tonight. I don't think I could stay awake through it.

As I resumed my play of The World Ends With You, I found yet another reason to have to poke Squeenix. The rant from before, where I mentioned that Joshua's lines have a bad habit of hinting at things that you know aren't there and are just there to be slasher!bait?
Well, during the extra story that pops up, the hint turns into a statement, bait-wise.
And Shiki decides to follow along to see what happens—oops, she means to stop it.
…Damn, Squeenix, you're doing this on purpose! XD

I'm seriously considering starting a fic project on this. I place the blame squarely on the "Another Day" arc. Specficically, the following lines:
Shiki and Beat: You're not--You aren't--
Neku: It's not--it's not like that--!

Uh, yeah. xD
