Sitting on the floor in my apartment.

I’m sitting in the middle of my floor right now as I write this.  It’s actually rather comfortable.  The ‘you’re stuck with  heater’ season is still going right now so the heat keeps the floor a nice livable temperature.  I don’t really need to wear house shoes or socks, the floor is fine.

First night sleeping at the new place

As I turned the key in my lock - closely followed by my boyfriend who carried my housewarming gift of 20 pounds of jasmine rice - I turned to the power switch and flipped it up.  Nothing immediately happened.  Nor did anything happen later.

Second actual full day.

So, it’s the second day in this place.  I’ve got power now, and now that I have power, I have placed a few things into my refrigerator.  Funny story, apparently it was in fact connected, but there was a switch in the building that hadn’t been activated, so the power just wasn’t getting to my unit.
